Editorial policy
Clever World Dispatch aims to make hands-on ideas clear, honest and worth a reader's time. We explain what an article can and cannot establish, and we leave room for uncertainty when a result depends on the materials or situation.
Accuracy and clarity
We check statements against the information available to us and take care to distinguish explanation, suggestion and opinion. Articles should make their limits clear, especially when a technique may behave differently with different materials or conditions. We do not present general writing as a substitute for professional advice, specialist training or local requirements.
Independence and partners
Editorial decisions are made separately from partnership arrangements. Any paid, supplied or otherwise partner-supported material is labelled clearly where it appears, so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial content. Partner placements across the site are also identified as partner material; their presence does not mean the Dispatch endorses every product or service mentioned.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error or an unclear passage, we welcome a message through the Contact page. We review the point and correct material when warranted, making a suitable note where the change affects a reader's understanding. A correction is not a reason to hide what was wrong.
Images and illustrations
Images are selected to support the subject and are not proof that a method will produce a particular result. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where relevant, they are identified as illustrations rather than photographs of a real project.
